An end-to-end HR and Payroll solution for a garments manufacturing company with 800+ employees. The system manages the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
Modules include: employee profile with documents, department and designation hierarchy, shift management, attendance via biometric device import, monthly payroll with allowances/deductions/overtime/bonus, income tax calculation as per Bangladesh tax slab, leave management with approval workflow, performance appraisal, and automated salary slip PDF email.

Problem & Solution
Problem
The company was using Excel sheets for payroll and had 3 HR staff spending a full week each month just calculating salaries. Tax calculations were error-prone and salary slips were printed and physically distributed, costing paper and time.
Solution
Built an automated payroll engine that processes 800+ employee salaries in under 2 minutes using batch processing. DomPDF generates individualized salary slip PDFs which are emailed automatically via job queue. A tax engine applies the current Bangladesh income tax slabs and generates annual tax certificates.
